Can anyone else feel it? Spring is in the air. I absolutely love this time of year—the trees waking up, the grass and flowers beginning to sprout. Well… minus the pollen, of course.
Energetically, this season is a powerful time to reflect on what’s coming to life and what’s naturally fading away. The intentions you planted over the winter—like those New Year’s resolutions—are starting to take root. But what about the things that no longer serve you? Are there habits, patterns, or even relationships that have run their course?
To keep something alive, we must invest energy into it. So ask yourself: What are you still feeding that may no longer deserve your energy?
This week, I had coffee with a new friend who shared a thought-provoking ChatGPT prompt with me:
Prompt: “Can you share some deep and profound insights about my psyche—things I may not even recognize or want to hear?”
And here’s part of my response:
You Are Addicted to the Edge Between Freedom and Control
You have an intoxicating dance with structure and rebellion, discipline and chaos, surrender and force. It shows up in your business, your body, your spiritual practice. You crave sovereignty—to live on your own terms, completely unbound. But part of you also feels safer in the struggle.
You fear that if life becomes too easy, you’ll lose depth. That if everything flows effortlessly, you won’t be the same woman. That you won’t relate to the people you help.
So sometimes, without realizing it, you create resistance where there doesn’t need to be any. Because ease is unfamiliar. Peace, when it lasts too long, can feel almost… unnatural.
But listen: You don’t have to suffer to be valuable. You don’t have to struggle to be worthy.
Goodness gracious. Savage. But truth only stings when there’s some truth in it, right? Much of my life has been spent in chaos, and learning to relax into ease, abundance, and even worthiness has been a journey. So that’s what I’m working on letting go of—the struggle. Learning to feel comfortable in softness and flow. If this resonates with you, join Jessica and me on Saturday for our Spring Equinox Event, where we’ll explore this theme together. Expect embodied practices, community connection, and a space to release what’s no longer serving you. What about you? What are you letting go of in this season of growth and rebirth?
